From Fleeting Idea to Actionable Plan with the Idea Planner

Ideas are fragile. They often arrive at inconvenient times and disappear just as quickly. The Idea Planner (our Notes feature) is designed not just to store these ideas, but to help you nurture them into fully-fledged plans.

Step 1: Capture Everything, Instantly

The moment an idea strikes, capture it. Don't filter or judge. Use the "New Note" button to create a space for it. For even faster capture, use the AI-powered features:

  • Dictate Notes: Click the microphone icon and speak your idea. It's faster than typing and captures the natural flow of your thoughts.
  • Transcribe from Image: Saw something inspiring? Snap a photo of a whiteboard, a book page, or a sketch and drag it onto the note. The AI will transcribe the text for you.

Step 2: Organize and Refine

Once your ideas are captured, you can start to organize them. Create separate notes for different projects or themes. Use titles to make them easily searchable. In the content, flesh out the details. What is the goal? What are the first steps? What resources are needed?

Step 3: Move to Action

An idea is only useful if it leads to action. Once a note has developed into a concrete plan, move the action items into your other LifeManager tools.

  • Add the main goal to your Priority Stack.
  • Break down the steps into a new list in your List Manager.
  • Schedule time to work on it in your Calendar.
